The Emmimah Memorial Charitable Trust is a non-profit organization based in Chennai, India. Our primary vision is to provide health facilities to the underprivileged, and our programs are designed to meet the personal needs of the depressed and downtrodden.  Our mission is mainly to feed the hunger and to provide care and shelter to the destitute communities.

In a way to honor the memory of our loved one (baby Emmimah) and help the families of the deceased which she was passionate about; Emmimah Memorial Charitable Trust was established.  Baby Emmimah, born on November 8, 2006 was diagnosed with GRISCELLI SYNDROME at the age of 11, She passed away peacefully on August 5, 2017. While spending much of her childhood in hospital and treatment; we believe she will certainly have a life beyond death, caused due to cancer.

She began to love and care for the poor while she was still in school. While she was in the hospital for treatment, she showed her love by sharing fruits and goods with her fellow patients. All her good intentions ended when she was 11 years old and we are on the verge to keep her memories alive through this Charitable Trust.

The Founder (as a father) has experienced many emotions, pains and many hardships with obstacles to express his daughter’s love for the world. Thus “Emmimah Memorial Charitable Trust” was established to transform the dreams of its beneficiaries into real life.

Our purpose is to help the people in need, improve, and uplift humankind mentally, morally and physically. The relief of poverty, the improvement of economic conditions, and the advancement of education, health are the other streams that we support indirectly.
